Edward T. Bowser, Sr.

 

• 2021-2022 "Leader In Me" School Year 5 of Implementation
• Provide afterschool programs that include- Gifted & Talented, Lego Club, Garden Club, Girls Who Code, Art Literacy, and NJSLA/Start Strong Programs.
• Dual Language Spanish Program K-5.
• One to One ratio of Chromebooks to students.
• Interactive boards in all classrooms.
• Students at our school have been recognized for their award winning projects at the annual District Science, Math, Technology Fair.
• Our Habitat Helpers Club created an outdoor “Garden of Hope” that serves as an environmental classroom for all students in our school. The National Wildlife Federation certified this garden as a Wildlife Habitat. Our Afterschool Program students maintain the garden.

 

 

The Dr. John Howard Unique School of Excellence was renamed to the Edward T. Bowser, Sr. Unique School of Excellence. Edward T. Bowser, Sr., born in 1901, was a lifelong resident of East Orange, New Jersey. He was very active in and supportive of our community.
